Please note that the visa section processes files for residents of Ontario and Manitoba only. As of March 2011, passport holders residing in Saskatchewan must apply to the Consulate General of France in Vancouver.
We would like to remind all the visa applicants the following:
The Visa Office does not book any appointments by e-mail or phone. Only appointments booked on-line via our website specially set up for this purpose will be considered valid.
Appointments are scheduled on an individual basis. Members of the same family must schedule separate appointments for each applicant.
In the case where all the preferred time slots are booked, it is the responsibility of the visa applicant to consult the website on a regular basis in case there are any cancellations.
Other offices and services in the Consulate will not reply to any visa-related requests. All questions and requests concerning the visa process should be sent by e-mail to email@example.com.
The visa section does not process applications for individuals holding official or diplomatic passports.
* The personal appearance is mandatory for all visa applications (except : http://www.consulfrance-toronto.org/spip.php?article1804)
* It is mandatory to take an appointment to apply for a visa
* No visa is issued on the day of appointment. Applicants who are unable to come get their passport in person are invited to include a pre-paid envelope for returning the passport.
Canadian citizens can stay in France for up to 3 months without a visa.
