Saturday March 22nd at 7:00 pm at the Laboratoire d’art (Le Labo) (55, Mill Street – Cannery Building #58 – Studio 317)
Since its creation in 2003, Les Nomades - Toronto International French Short Film Festival, has put forward cultural diversity by showcasing a wide variety of French-speaking shorts subtitled in English.
For its 5th edition, the festival will take place at the Laboratoire d’art (partner of the event) and will present among other films the 2008 Genie Award winner Alexis Fortier’s « Après Tout», from Quebec.
This is just the beginning, as the Nomades will offer again this year to all French short-film lovers a selection of 11 films directed by both Canadian and French filmmakers.
This festival is a great opportunity to watch French documentary, fiction, experimental, as well as animated films.
For the third consecutive year, the Torontonian cellist Amber Walter-Amar, will be performing live on the experimental silent-film by Karin Hazé.
